There are many factors that affect reception. Distance, elevation of broadcast antenna, elevation of your antenna, and how high the hills are in between. I am 30 miles from downtown Austin Tx and picked up 63 stations when I set up my new TV. My antenna is at the top of a 20' mast and receives thru the tops or cedar trees. The only way to really tell is to try it. If it doesn't work, take it back. The higher the better. I called the manufacturer. They were very helpful. They have a way of determining the approxiamate signal strength in at your exact location and can tell you exactly which direction to point the antenna.

There may be factors about your specific location that affect the antenna's ability to receive a consistent signal, and I recommend contacting our Technical Support at your earliest convenience to go over them. Technical Support can be reached either by phone @ 877-825-5572 or on our website @ https://www.antennasdirect.com/customer-service.html. Thanks for your time!
