I purchased this monitor after Best Buy told me it was a better option than buying a connection cable for my old monitor. I found out that it doesn't have the cables and I have to buy them anyways. What cables exactly do I need? It is not working. null

Frustrated, I know how you feel. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife and found the same issue. You need an HDMI cable unless your computer is the older style with the screw-in end

It uses standard vga or hdmi.

The monitor supports both VGA and HDMI. Whatever output your computer supports is what you should buy.

Check your console supports HDMI or VGA, now a days all the console have HDMI support. You probably need HDMI i guess
