“I've tried changing screen settings using the buttons on bottom of the monitor but cant seem to change contrast, game color, shadow control etc. because those options and a few others are grayed out. Anyone know how to fix this and enable those options?”

You have to change the type first because as certain settings are turned on it limits certain options I learned that by turning certain ones on and off and seeing what it allows me to do.
