There is no way to know without the power rating of your tv, but It could work for the Tv you would have to manually shut the tv down during the outage. Depending on your television's power rating. You would have to check its specs and match it up to the rating on the battery backup before you purchase. Check the manufacturers' website or your owner's manual for the power ratings.

I had a power outage 3 days ago and the tv stayed on along with the stream I was watching. I wouldn’t have known the power went out if my lights didn’t go out. I actually heard it switch over to battery. Worked flawlessly for me.
