Works just fine and have had no trouble with it yet. Power went out a couple of times but I shut down the computer with plenty of battery left.

Just experienced my first power outage and this worked perfect!!!! I’m getting 3 for each of the computers in the house since we all WFH and go to virtual school!!

Item is as described and weighs A LOT! it requires the user to actually attach the battery-cable to set up the device. Easy to do, with simple instructions. my biggest complaint, is that many bulky power cords will plug-in with their plastic-body off to the left or right, which covers up another empty plug, and wastes space. Even with the spacing on this one, we basically lost a plug. We probably should've bought one with some plugs on opposite sides, to better space out what needs to go into this unit. It's working fine and does the job as needed.

Love this new battery. So much smaller than the old model. Better footprint easier to use.

I run my electricity off the srp box and from time to time, I forget to reload, so my power cuts out. I have my modem and router ran from the backup. It held up both times like a champ! Life is busy, let technology simplify the rest!

We've had several APC battery backups and did not know they made this narrow model till I saw it on the shelf at Best Buy. Compared it to the ones that take up a lot of territory on the desktop - and chose this for the slimmer profile. No problems, everything plugs in neatly.

What a relief no more worries with rain and showers interrupting your broadcasts and podcasts.

I'm not an expert when it comes to battery backups, but I've been very pleased with this product thus far. I was looking for a UPS that includes at least one USB port (check!), one that looks good enough to fit nicely into a second bedroom in my home (check!), and one with a battery capacity that could simply keep our household online for a while during power outages (check!). I'm not burdening this UPS with a heavy load...just an Arris cable modem, an Eero router and an Insteon hub. Additionally, I've plugged a paper shredder and laser printer into surge-only outlets. Everything works as expected and I anticipate the battery will provide significant up time in the absence of power. Regarding the design of this unit: I'm pleased. I wouldn't call it a stunner, but I do consider it to be more "household friendly" than some of the enterprise-looking UPS products on the market today.

After having used this for about a year and a half, I'm quite satisfied with how well it's worked. My apartment is rather old and this definitely shows in the wiring, which tends to fail when there's even a hint of storms outside. Even the most minor of power flickers can cause issues with PC's, which becomes even more of a problem now that I work from home. However, the backup has never failed to step up whenever there's an issue and keep things running without any interruption. It also lasts long enough that if the power does fail completely, I can wait a few minutes for it to come back before finally needing to shut everything down properly.

The unit is unobtrusive, actually designed fairly well, and easy to use. The default beep is loud enough to hear from across the room but not so loud that it will give your dog a heart attack. With just my router and modem plugged into the battery back-up slots on this UPC, I have been able to keep using the wifi for over two hours during a power outage. I have done the math and the battery should be able to run a TV, internet and cable box for about 45 minutes, long enough to get through many short suburban outages. The unit beeps to let you know when you should unplug before the battery completely drains to maintain battery health.

Smaller and more compact then the old one. Works like it's supposed to with no problems. Loose power quiet frequently in short spurts the Battery Back-Up switches on immediately.

Replaced a 6 year old APC that went south. Needs a bit more room between ac plugs for wall warts. Note: The Power Cute software will give your all kinds of screwball errors and disconnects if you connect the USB cable to the UPS supply through a hub. It must go directly to the computer's USB 2.0 of 3.0 port. Supplied software is very good and informative. Easy to connect battery and easy set up. Nice unit!

I've been using APC battery backups for decades, and I consistently recommend them to friends and colleagues. In nearly 30 years of use (including 20+ years in IT systems administration and management), I've only ever been disappointed with one single unit, and it may have been a fluke, as it was a form factor I'd never used before. This unit was easy to set up and configure for automated shutdown of the server if the need should arise.

Since my Dell AIO PC has no built-in battery backup, this APC power backup does the job. Since installation, I had 2 short power disruptions and the PC worked through both of them without disruption and allowed me to shut down normally. This APC model is simple with 5 backup outlets and 2 surge protected outlets. Set up is easy. I just charged the battery and plugged my equipment in.

Really love my APC Battery Back up system. I did a lot of research - this new UPS design was something different and better suited for my needs. It has 5 Battery & Surge protection outlets. Whereas most UPS systems (even more expensive ones) has maximum 3 - 4 outlets for both types of protection. I absolutely love the compact size - it also stands up giving me more floor space. Looks cool and compact under my desk. Best Buy also had the best price - didn't even have to do a price match.

Item was nice packaged (received shipping within a few days of ordering). Setup was easy, basically you need to "Connect" the battery located inside of the unit. once done, organized what needs to be powered by the UPS and what needs just the surge protection. In addition, you need to install the powerchute software (not included) to be able to set it up properly.

We've used the model just above this for 7 years without fail and it was recommended by our IT company. So when Hurricane Harvey was en route I thought I'd buy this as a safeguard for home. It was easy to set up and a source of relief when the electricity flickered. I knew that my internet router would stay on for 6-7 hours if needed. Fortunately I haven't needed it but it's definitely worth the investment.

A UPS is supposed to keep things going when the power goes out. Here in North Texas occasionally there is a need for this. I have only been in possession of this item for a few months, it has performed through several outages as expect. I suggest you do you homework on the price you maybe able to secure this for a better price with a price match.

I found the ABC - Back up Battery on sale which was nice because I needed it right away. I followed the instructions which were easy to follow. Just had a little problem putting the cable back into the back up after connecting it. After taking it back out and doing it again I got it to work when I pushed it back with more force. It's been working every since.
