If your system is plugged into it, yes. You will also want to plug the router into it as well. Just remember that the more you plug into it, the shorter the backup time. I do a syndicated radio show from a home studio. I have 3 computers, modem, router, and BRIC unit plugged into mine. It will work just fine.

Please try again later.The ability of this battery to provide stored energy during a power outage is directly related to the power drain on the battery once the battery is no longer receiving current from the home electrical outlet. In general, you have four minutes of full battery power after the power outage starts if you have high energy electronics hooked up to the back-up such as television, DVR, computer, etc. However, If you only had a telephone draining stored current then you might be able to talk for many hours, depending on the phone.
