I think there's a good chance it will solve the loud popping sound in your stereo but you will probably hear a softer "click" sound from the back-up battery each time the air conditioner compression starts up. I have a portable air conditioner unit near my television and each time the AC unit starts I can hear a click from the back up battery indicating that the AC unit is dropping the electrical power to my television and DVR. Fortunately, my television and DVR do not lose power on the back up battery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately the BN900M likely would not help the stereo system since it doesn't act as a voltage regulator. You should check out our AV product line that would help clean up the input voltage when the AC kicks on. Please do not hesitate to reach out to an APCbySchneider sales team for further assistance in selecting an unit. We offer email and chat services through our support site. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably. The issue is caused by the massive power draw the air conditioner places on the circuit. Be aware that the unit may alarm briefly, or show power events in the log for each power cycle of the AC unit. I recommend ALL sensitive electronic equipment (like your stereo system) be plugged into UPS units like this one from APC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it should - because the UPS keeps the power level remaining the same, so your equipment shouldn't notice any chances.
