While it might power the chair’s control system in standby mode, it’s not recommended for operating the lift mechanism during an outage. For motorized furniture like a lift chair, you’ll want a higher-capacity UPS—ideally one rated for at least 1000VA or more, depending on the chair’s specs. But always check the chair’s power requirements and consult the manufacturer or APC support to ensure safe compatibility.
