Yes. You can use cables that go from lighting (the charging port) to AV or HDMI. You may also be able to connect wirelessly depending on the capabilities of the monitor setup.

Sorry, this was a gift for someone else and they don't have a monitor, so I don't know that answer. I'm pretty sure they do use it with a movie projector, though.
