• The easiest way to transfer from old ipad to a new one is during setup of the new ipad: 1. Turn on your new iPad and place it near your old iPad. A "Set Up New iPad" screen will appear on your old device. Tap Continue. 2. Follow the on-screen instructions on your old iPad to scan the animation on your new iPad using your camera. 3. On your new iPad, enter your old iPad's passcode when prompted. Set up Face ID or Touch ID if you want to use it. 4. Choose Transfer from iPad on the "Transfer Your Data" screen to begin the direct transfer.
