• No, they do not transfer anything. Just put your Apple ID in the new iPad

• Based on my experience - they do not by default. However it is easy to back up your old device on iCloud and then restore from backup on new device. No special software or anything is needed - Unless, you are trading in or moving between Android and Apple.

• They charged 40 usd for that. I would recommend to do a backup in icloud and when ou get the new ipad you info will be on the cloud.
