Please try again later.As this is the 4th time Apple has released a new iPad Pro, the 11 inch is considered the 2nd generation as there have been 2 different release years while the 12.9 inch is on its 4th generation now. So the sizes are on different generations but the iPad Pro lineup is definitely on its 4th release now. The different generation is good to know because of the difference in camera which leads to a difference in accessories. I hope this cleared the question up, thank you!
