Hi, Yes, you can take the SIM card out of your iPad mini and place it in a new iPad Pro with cellular. Both devices use the same SIM card size, which is nano-SIM. However, you will need to make sure that the two devices are compatible with the same cellular carrier. You can check this by checking the SIM card ICCID. If the ICCIDs are the same, then the SIM card can be transferred. Otherwise, you will need to get a new SIM card from your cellular carrier. I hope this has been helpful!

If it is an unlocked iPad mini, I think it should be able to fit and able to work. My only issue is that I’m not sure if iPad mini is like the iPhone with an e-sim.
