• In my opinion you don’t need one due to the durability of the glass; however, if you want one, and you use the Apple Pencil 2 a lot, i would recommend the “Paper Like” protector because it gives the sensation of writing on actual paper when using the Apple Pencil. You can check out the Paper Like protector on their website. If you travel with it a great deal, I do recommend Apple Care which covers accidental damage.

• I would recommend it. I had a 12.9” model and I tried going without a screen protector with my keyboard case. Big mistake - I wound up with several light scratches within the first month.
