• Open box can mean that it was on display or was returned to the store within the first 30 days of purchase. It is inspected and guaranteed to work as new or you can return it. The manufacturer warranty is still good

• From my understanding an open box could mean a few things 1.it was returned 2.it was a floor mode 3.someone open the box in the store to look at it
