Yes. The second generation Apple Pencil charges directly from the top of the iPad. I think you would need a usb c to lightning cable adapter for the first generation Apple Pencil

not sure on the gen 1, but it was desgined with the gen 2 in mind, and the gen 2 pencil works flawlessly on it.

Make sure it is an Apple Pencil gen 2 for the iPad Pro 11 gen 3. I’m afraid to buy an off brand for fear it won’t be compatible.
