“What does unlocked mean?”

• Unlocked means that if you were to use a cellular data plan you are not locked to a certain carrier(att etc.). You can use what cell data carrier you want to. I have a unlocked one.

• It’s cellular so you can connect to any phone network, it’s adding an additional line to your plan the iPad having it’s own phone number

• Unlocked means it’s Open to any Carrier / t- mobile / Verizon wireless / Sprint / ets

• Hi, Unlocked means that it is capable of being activated by any compatible mobile carrier for mobile services (5G/LTE)

• This is a wifi + cellular device. An unlocked device means that it can be used with any cellular carrier rather than a device sold by a specific carrier that has been designed to only work with that specific carrier.
