Yes it will work with the I Phone 12 mini and yes you will need to purchase a charging cable and AC plug in.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The iPhone 12 comes with a lightning to USB-C cable. You need a 20W USB-C power adapter. It will not use the basic USB-A plug charger.
