“I attempted to buy 5 iTunes cards at Downingtown PA location and was told Apple prevents purchases of more than two cards in one day. Is that for real when I can buy 3packs of itunes cards in other stores? Will you sell my email address? Thank you.”

I never heard of being limited to how many cards I can buy but I have been told they check Id and maybe they could possibly limit you if you were buying with a credit card. Credit card fraud and kind of a cash advance if you are paying with credit.

It's for real. These cards are used by money launderers, frauds, and scammers. Therefore to curb this activity Apple sets limits on the number of cards that can be bought by one person in a 24 hour period.

I have never heard of limiting the number of iTunes Gift Cards per purchase. I have purchased 10 cards in a single transaction before. However, I do know there is a limit on how many can be used in a single purchase. Apple will only allow a maximum of 8 cards to be used in a single purchase.
