No, the new iMacs don’t have a DVD player.

No. The newer iMacs do not have a cd/dvd drive. Apple does have an external usb drive (APPLE USB SUPERDRIVE) for purchase ($79). None of the newer MacBook Pros or MacBook Air have one either.
