Copied external hard drive to new computer. Backing up was done by earlier syncing everything, a passive action, so to speak.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A computer person who works for a local internet company did it for me. He said because I had an external backup attached to my computer it was easy for him to transfer all of it. I lost nothing! He said that if I did not have an external backup (Mine is a Seagate that I got at Best Buy) it would have been a lot more work...but that it could still have been done. Good luck!
