No if you can save some money buying the mini five you were not giving up anything except you were saving A little bit of$$ and the warranty is the same and both Best Buy and Apple stand by their products.. and the direct answer to your question is it comes with a one-year factory warranty which would apply if you buy it open box or sealed in a box.
