I can hear very clearly through phone calls as well as hearing people if you’re wearing them and speaking to somebody in person

Yes. Voices sound clear and natural, especially during phone calls and FaceTime. They do a good job picking up speech, even in moderately noisy environments. Not a replacement for hearing aids, but perfectly fine for everyday conversations.
