• Yes you have to go into your phones Bluetooth settings and disable conversation detection in audio environment adaption

• Ya. If on an Apple device, drag down the control center from top right of screen, touch the volume button that has an image of the AirPods (they have to be in use), and in the 3 options that come up go to Conversation Awareness and toggle it to Off.
