Why is the “ pro” better than 3rd generation not Pro? null

Adaptive audio, Active noise cancellation, Conventional Awareness & personally I like the fit better. It is more comfortable for longer periods. (Note they do go on sale at Best Buy for around 199; that made it a NO Brainer for me) Enjoy

Good question. But look at the price - the 2nd generations has more options than the 3rd generation.

The noise cancellation is unmatched, and my personal favorite is the fact that you can adjust the volume on the earbuds
