“I saw and article that said Apple was going to have a free software update and the update would include a "hearing aid feature". Anyone know anything about this?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the new pro 2s and they have the hearing aid feature. That is wonderful and it is truly a hearing aid. My husband can actually hear me now and if you're listening to music it blocks all background noise which my son loves

It allows you to test your hearing or upload a recent audiogram to your phone for the airpod pro 2 to use so they can act as hearing aids. However, if your hearing is worse than mild to moderate the apple airpods pro 2 earbuds won't function as hearing aids for you.
