• I don’t think there are any iPhones that aren’t Apple iPhones, but they can connect with any phone via Bluetooth.

• iPhones are only made by Apple unless you meant any cellphone and if that’s what you meant then yes. I would say that the quality is better using an iPhone bc you could use all the iPhone features with the AirPods. Technically you can use any Bluetooth ear buds though.
