• The new one connects faster with its news h1 chip instead of the old a1 chip and the batter life for the new one is one hour longer for talking on the phone. There is wireless charging in the new case but you can still get it without it if you want.

• about $40, connectivity, constant "hey Siri", bluetooth 5.0, possibly battery life.

• AirPods 2 get louder, have better battery life, and they can be charged wirelessly. They look exactly the same though.
