My son who has sensory neural hearing loss does like to use these and can hear me well when he uses them, but I do not recommend these be used in lieu of actual hearing aids.

The sound from these for hearing aide use is amazing. Full normal sound, not tinny hollow like you get from other in ear hearing aides. Hearing does not come from your phone.. sound comes from the buds. you can use them to listen to music on your phone and the sound comes directly to the buds. These are smart hearing aides! This function was literally the only reason I got them. They are epic hearing aides!
