“does this extend your wifi and it's speed? We are looking for something to extend our wifi into some of the back bedrooms which have a bad connection. Will this work for that in addition to the wireless printing?”

Yes it extends both the 2GHz and the 5.2GHz WIFI channels. You can also plug an ethernet cable into the back of the express and add a wired device or a hub for multiple devices. I have 4 of them around the house for extensions.
