“Is this a good replacement item for a laptop? I don't use the laptop much anymore, so would like to have something for email, online shopping, editing photos, and storing recipes. I have an iPhone so guessing I can transfer photos from phone to edit?”

I believe that it is a good replacement for a laptop, at least for my needs. I can play games, take photos, send texts and perform a lot of other functions. I will know more after using my new tablet for a while, but I am very happy with my new i Pad so far.
