Yes, this IPad can be connected to one of the many keyboards made for IPad. However, the keyboards are all so tightly spaced that I don't like to use one -- hand cramps, you know. The other downside to a keyboard is that it will pull juice from your battery to work, so your battery time will shorten somewhat.
