• It means it has the ability to connect to WiFi when you’re somewhere that has WiFi eg Internet cafe. This particular model cannot do cellular service, but you can get this same iPad with both WiFi and cellular capabilities for more money.

• If you have WiFi in your home, or access to open WiFi at any other places you go, you be able to use their WiFi. The WiFi ability is already on the iPad,
