If one reads through the specs one would find that it does print wirelessly to a capable printer. The iPhone 8+ I am answering this question on will print to the same printer however it is good for many many other things.

Yes you can printer wirelessly, just install the App for your printer and follow mfg. instructions for the printer to set up. Even if you couldn't print, if you've ever owned an iPad before you would know there are countless things you can do.

All IOS devices can print wirelessly on AirPrint compatible WiFi printers. That includes iPad, ipad PRO, iPhone,iPod Touch.m
 I regularly print wirelessly from my iPhone and iPad and MacBook Pro , no problem to my HP WiFi printer.
