Does this generation 6 have a place for a SIM card null

If you need a place for Sim Card, you will have to buy an iPad with WiFi plus Cellular. And it will cost more plus you will have to get a phone service along with that. This regular iPad (WiFi only/ newest/8th generation) will not have a nano sim slot.

No. It is a WiFi only model. And no, it doesn’t have and sd card slot either.
