• iPads are an Apple device running the Apple iOS operating system. Apple's iOS is a totally different operating system than Android. There is no easy way to use Android applications like games on Apple devices. Some developers will have a game on both of these platforms but you will have to pay for the application through the Apple App Store IF it is available. Apple Apps almost always cost much more than Apps on Android. Generally, Apple is more limited in games than what is available on Android. Android had 2,100,000 Apps in quarter 1 of 2019 while iOS had 1,800,000 Apps total. Games accounted for 24.63% of the total Apps available on iOS. IPads are consistently considered the best tablets but plan to spend more on Apps.
