We traded in old phone of my daughters and should be able to transfer ALL info from old phone. When we purchased through Best Buy, the employee made all that happen for us. And I think as long as you use same service carrier, the phone # transfers also. One good reason to go somewhere to purchase phone as opposed to ordering online so that professionals can help make all that happen. Cost is the same
