• Absolutely! That's what I did. I then called t-mobile to confirm the new phone shows up in their system.

• Once you buy the phone from Best Buy, you have to activate the phone through Best Buy online and you'll be set. Basically put the sim card in, go to the phone help tab and activate it.

• Yes, I preordered my iPhone and the new sim card was not activated. I swapped my old sim card into the new phone and it worked.
