A:AnswerMost new phones within the last two years with Best Buy are locked to Verizon or AT&T. They no longer offer phones for Tmobile. You can purchase iPhones 13 and older fully unlocked from Best Buy.
A:AnswerHey Lieu!
Yes, Best Buy has T-Mobile phones. You can find them in the Cell Phones & Accessories section of the Best Buy website or at any Best Buy store, however as far as iPhones 15s goes, they only have Verizon and AT&T.
I hope this helps with your phone shopping!
A:AnswerYou can always take the phone to a Best Buy store along with charger and charging cable to Customer service desk and they will give you a gift card that you can in turn use to put a payment against the new phone. Phone will need to be fully paid off but does not need to be unlocked. Make sure it is reset and iCloud removed before you head to the store.
A:AnswerThese are not unlocked. They will be locked to VZW or ATT based on their stipulations. Best Buy only sells iPhone 13 and prior models as unlocked.
A:AnswerVerizon will send you a padded envelope and box with a prepaid label to ship your old phone back to them after you start the activation/trade-in process on your new phone. You will start this process in the Verizon portal after you login with your username/mobile and password.
The nice part is that you will have both your old phone and your new phone at the same time so you can take your time and do your backup/data transfer. Also if you have MFA codes and that kind of thing, you can still use your old phone until you successfully transfer it to your new phone.
And lastly, it can take some time for the new phone to activate so you will have your old phone in the meantime. Once everything is activated, you will see your new billing cycle a few changes:
1. One-Time Activation Fees
2. New monthly finance charge if you financed
3. Credit offset from trade-in ($830 if done with 36 month financing for upgrade line, $1000 if new or added line)
I've pieced most of this process together myself but I'm fairly confident this is how it is going to play out. I'll know for sure Friday when I pick up my new Pro Max :)
