• Devices do not come unlocked you will have to connect with Verizon for 60 days then you can ask Verizon to unlock it

• It will be Verizon locked for 60 days, beginning the day of activation. After 60 days, it is unlocked. You don’t have to call or email support to unlock the device either. It’s just automatically done. So after 60 days, you are able to switch carriers (I’m on Verizon and have dealt with this issue before).
