A: I bought an iPhone 13 Pro from Boost with my credit card online. It arrived unlocked with a Boost SIM card. I didn’t install the card in the tray instead I took it to a T-Mobile store as I wanted T-Mobile carrier. I asked for an eSIM and they set it up no charge I got a magenta 55 with auto pay $50.00 a month $5.00 discount with auto pay. It’s 2025 and I still have the 13 pro with automatic software installation or you can install it right away or overnight while you sleep if you have a strong WIFI signal.the phone is a 256 k. Still runs like new. Video and audio apps are quick to listen to music or podcasts and YouTube. I don’t recommend buying a newer phone as my 13 pro is strong enough. I read where Apple has what is called plannned obsolescence . It is said that everytime you update the software the phone’s. Software download is designed to slow down your phone so you end up buying a new phone for over $1,000 eventually. I haven’t seen that with my iPhone. My WIFI signals are weak where my room is so I called T-Mobile for any advice. They advised me to turn off the WIFI and switch to Cellular. I turned off my WIFI and now I’m operating off T-Mobile’s towers directly. That takes up data but my phone has unlimited data access so no harm no foul. Working great. Best phone ever and I’ve tried Samsung and LG both androids. iPhones are the best and get it eSIM. The phone remains unlocked in case I want to switch carriers. I paid $1200 cash so I had only pay for the $50.00 carrier fee. They didn’t charge me for the eSIM installation or the join T-Mobile fee of normally $35.00. I love it.
A: The salesperson at the phone kiosk set mine up. I have Geek Squag coverage and they answered a few questions for me. I also had an issue setting up my Version App - The manager at a local Verizon set it up for me. Check Yelp reviews for a friendly helpful store.
Q: What does locked & unlocked mean?
A: Locked means that the phone they’re selling is locked to only having the carriers they provide, unlocked means the phone has no carrier locked to it and you can choose a different carrier of your choice.
Q: Does it require a trade in? I would like to give my old phone to my husband.
A: No it doesn’t you can choose to pay it in payments or a one time payment.
Q: is this made with a glass back again? they always break.
A: No it’s not. It’s made with aluminum which means it’ll be very sturdy but if it has many falls the damage will start to show.
Q: can my current phone info be transfered to an I17 at Best Buy?
A: It depends if it’s an android or Samsung it can be transferred but not completely and you’ll have to find what’s missing exactly, if you have an iPhone the transfer will go smoothly.
A: I need compatible iPhone
