Same as last gen
I can't say I can really tell a difference between these and the originals. Pass-through sounds more natural but it's not something I use. It doesn't connect any quicker to windows which I found disappointing. It can take a full 30 seconds to connect to a windows computer. No multipoint Bluetooth sure was a choice. I bought the new ones for a reason though. They're still great quality in material and sound.

Apple AirPods Max 2 (USB-C) – Blue
These headphones are top-tier. The sound quality is rich and immersive, with deep bass and crystal-clear highs. Noise cancellation is outstanding and makes a big difference in noisy environments. They’re also very comfortable for long listening sessions, and the build quality feels premium. The blue color looks even better in person—highly recommend.

Great Headset for your iPhone!
I’ve had the original Airpods Max (Lightning Cable) and I loved them! I ended up selling them and regretted it right away. When I found out they were making another with USB Type C, I was excited. With the new upgrades, better bluetooth connection, Lossless Audio via the type c cable connected, its well worth the price. This is a must have, especially if you are well invested in the Apple Line Up.
