What does locked & unlocked mean? null

Locked means that the phone they’re selling is locked to only having the carriers they provide, unlocked means the phone has no carrier locked to it and you can choose a different carrier of your choice.

Locked means it’s only able to work with that specific provider and unlocked you can use any service from whichever provider
