T-Mobile unlocks after 60 days as well

Yes, the phone will be LOCKED when you buy it, but it will automatically UNLOCK after 60 days. Even if you bought it from Verizon directly, it would also be locked for 60 days, it's their standard policy. I won't name names, but the other national carriers do not unlock the phone for you until it's paid off in full, so Verizon is the only one that will automatically unlock it for you after 60 days, even if you've financed it. ***And the only reason they will unlock it early that I'm aware of is if you are military. If you are military, they will verify that and unlock the phone for you ASAP.***
