The phone can be bought for about $200 with a 2 year AT&T contract. It can also be purchased using AT&T next for about $31 per month with a two year agreement that allows you to get a new phone after 18 months by just paying the tax on the retail price. Not sure if this is offered in Italy. Hope this helps.

So if you are just buying the phone straight up, you would pay full retail that would be $500 to $800 depending on the model.
