• Sim locked. I don’t think Best Buy sells them unlocked. You have to go directly to Apple for that.

• If you are putting this device on a contract it will be locked into the carriers Neteork till contract is fulfilled. I will add All IPhones at Best Buy are Universal if but out right but not unlocked. AT&T will unlock for free if phone is bought out right.
