• You have to be 18 years old to enter a contract but, you can buy the phone outright without a contract. You have prepaid options if you have bad or no credit.

• No you don't have to be 18 years or older to buy this phone. I was younger but I also didn't have a credit score so that doesn't matter.

• I believe you do need to be 18 to enter into a contract and that’s also because they do report to the credit bureaus so decent credit is most likely needed. Otherwise go with pay as you go phones.
