“I want to show my iPhotos on my Samsung TV with my iphone 12 pro...I plugged the lightning into the phone, and I plugged a HDMI into TV and adapter....Nothing! Is there another step? do I need to plug something in the 3rd slot? The TV doesnt see the HDMI!”

It depends on which HDMI port you plugged into. You need to change the TV to look at that HDMI port, like 1, 2, 3 … Once it’s plugged in you would go to your remote and select which source it’s plugged into, a.k.a. the HDMI port. Every TV has number ones
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to plug a power source into the lightning port on the adapter. The adapter needs power which in turn charge is the phone also. Mine works with sound but no video still and nobody knows why. 12 pro iPhone
