“I bought a projector and need this adapter to connect it to my iPad. Does anyone use it for this purpose and can confirm you can use this adapter with Hulu and Netflix? I bought an off brand one that blocked Netflix and Hulu video from being played.”

This is exactly what I used this for, Netflix, Hulu YouTube all work great with the hdmi adapter. Be prepared to control volume on projector or external speaker though as it’ll lock the volume on high with the adapter.
