“Just tried with XR and both streaming choices are interrupted soon after connecting. Video doesn’t last more than a minute or two. Services are Slinbox and Spectrum cable app. Why does this happen? Is there a setting I need to change on the iPhone?”

• Try screen lock phone setting, turn off to never while using it, in general.display

• Make sure that those devices and services allow one to cast using an HDMI cable. Some apps and services block one from using this connector with their services or app.

• I used my iPhone X multiple times. Never had a problem. Could be some connectivity issue with your HDMI cable
